Upcoming Classes

May 3, 2021: “Bee-Engaged: An Average Joe’s Guide to Basic Beekeeping” Class  (Virtual)

This Basic Beekeeping Class is for those who are thinking about becoming Beekeepers (“Wanna-Bees”) and for Beginning Beekeepers (“New-Bees”) or Intermediate Beekeepers (“Lotta-Bees”) looking for a Basic Beekeeping refresher course.

It is run on Zoom on three consecutive Monday evenings May 3, 10 & 17, 2021 from 6:30 – 9 pm MT.

This course is certified as one of the Colorado State Beekeeping Association (CSBA) prerequisite Basic Beekeeping Courses for the CSBA’s Master Beekeeping Program’s Apprentice Level.

Total contact time is 7 1/2 hours (three 2 1/2 hour sessions) and registration is $89 per household.

This is for those Beekeepers who want to know more about splitting hives for apiary expansion and potential swarm control. It will be run virtually via Zoom as a 2 hour course.

This is for those Beekeepers who want to know more about potential swarm control, swarm rescue techniques and an overview of structural removals/extractions. It will be run virtually via Zoom as a 3 1/2 hour course.
